Butlers Chocolates was founded in 1932 by Marion Butler, an Indian-born chocolatier who hand-crafted luxury treats under the name Chez Nous Chocolates in Georgian Dublin. In 1959, the business was bought by Seamus Sorensen, and later passed to the next generation in 1978. Still family-run today, Butlers is one of the few remaining independent chocolate producers in its market.
